The need

Fladgate is a London law firm with international influence. The firm emphasises deep, personal, proactive client relationships. Having just conducted a rebrand, they were looking for tailored, interactive training sessions that would help lawyers to embed these unique values in relationship development.

What we did

  • Designed training workshops that were relevant to the firm’s priorities, through conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Delivered interactive, carefully tailored workshops to partners and lawyers with a focus on:
    • Bringing their exceptionally proactive and personal approach to life in client conversations
    • Maximising networking events to build authentic, profitable relationships
  • Embedded learnings by using actors and client case studies, which allowed lawyers to practice their skills in realistic scenarios

The outcome

Over 80 partners and future leaders have now been trained in relationship development and representing the Fladgate brand effectively. Attendees increased their personal confidence, which will ultimately grow business development activity, start more profitable conversations, and drive revenue. Lawyers also had the opportunity to refresh their networking skills, from initial research to attendance and follow-up.
