The need – helping young professionals to stand out

A leading international law firm was keen to develop the talent of their junior solicitors. In particular, they wanted those lawyers from 0-4 years PQE to understand the importance of communicating their strengths, skills and expertise to prospective clients and colleagues.

How we helped

Working in conjunction with a leading nationwide training provider, we developed a Postgraduate level training module (as part of a wider business skills MA programme) aimed at providing both academic rigour and practical insights into developing a powerful and compelling personal professional brand.

Our work included the development of a comprehensive personal professional branding workbook for all delegates to complete. This allowed each participant in the programme to create their own personalised branding action plan and branding statement.

Once the delegates had completed the workbook, we delivered a highly interactive face to face training workshop providing delegates with relevant practical examples of how to communicate a personal brand both online and in networking situations.

What was the outcome?

Delegates were each given a clear and understandable action plan for bringing their personal professional brand to life. This included a content marketing strategy and detailed communications plan to be embedded into the working day. Individual lawyers were left better placed to promote their unique skills and measure the effectiveness of their brand upon their chosen audience.
